I am an Inkeeper

When i was growing up i had this quote that hung on my bedroom door. It read "Each of us is an Inkeeper who decides if there is room for Jesus." I love this qoute because it reminds me to let Christ into my life. Chirst was born for us! He was here on the earth to show us the way, to be that example. He was sent here to be our lord and savior. He atoned for the sins of the world. If it were not for Christ we could not return to live with our Father in Heaven. We are those inkeepers! When christ comes knocking at our door and needs a place to rest will we let him in? I know i would! Christ is there and is waiting for us to let him in our lives. So remember this christmas season and always, his birth, and his life.  Remember what he has done for you. Make him a part of your life!

Faith

What is Faith? To me faith is trusting in god completley and letting him take over even though I do not know exactly what will happen. I now know that god knows what is best for me and that if I just have faith in him all will be okay. I didn't always have so much faith in god. There was a time in my life where I wasn't really sure if god was there and that he was answering my prayers. Times where I didn't always feel his love. There were times where I didn't fully rely on god. Instead i went to the world, went to my friends and didn't care. I didn't go to those who truly loved me. I look back and think that is not the way to go. We must turn to god!! and let him help us. He is the only one that knows us in and out. He knows exactly what we are going through, how we feel, and only he can help us, if we have the faith and trust in him. Ever since I have been here my mission, I can say that my faith has strengthed so much. I feel gods love more, He answers my prayers, he comforts me in times of need. I know that everthing will be okay. I love my father in Heaven.and my brother Jesus Christ! I know they love me and want to help me. I also now that just because we go through hard times does not mean that god hates us or does not care about us or purposly wants us to be unhappy. He know what things will tear us down to then only build us up, to make us stronger than before. We only see a little bit of what god sees. It is a blur to us. God sees the WHOLE picture, but when we have that faith and trust in him than the blur will gradually become clear to us.  Have faith in him!! let him help you!

Stand in Holy Places!!

In a sea of shifting values
tossed on every wave
while the winds wail around me
i will not be afraid
to call out for captain
to calm the waves in me
when i stand a little taller
it's only then i finally see
i stand in holy places
protected from the storm
anchored safe in harbor
though my sails are ripped and worn
i stand in holy places
and i will not move
until the captain comes and says well done
he is the hope i hold on to
in holy places

there is a harbor in his holy house
an anchor in his grace
that steadies in the waves of doubt
and in every holy place
no matter where i travel
his spirit's guiding me
with the lord as my captain
there is a peaceful port in me
i stand in holy places
protected from the storm
anchored safe in harbor
though my sails are ripped and worn
i stand in holy places
and i will not move
until the lord has come and says well done
he is the hope i hold on to

i stand in holy places
protected from the storm
anchored safe in harbor
though my sails are ripped and worn
i stand in holy places
and will not move
until the lord has come and says well done
he is the hope i hold on to
in holy places
Listen to me?

If you let me, I will make you perfect. The moment you put yourself in my hands, that is what you are in for. Nothing less, or other than that. You have free will, and if you choose, you can push my away. But if you do not push me away, understand that i am going to see this job through...whatever it costs me, i will never rest, nor let you rest until you are literally perfect..until my father can say without reservation that he is well pleased with you, as he said he was well pleased with me. This i can do and will do. But i will not do anything else.

This was taken from a quote from C.S. Lewis. I found it stuck into my scriptures yesterday and i really like it. I hope that one day i can be like my father in heaven and be perfect. Have him say to me that he is well pleased with me. I know that my savior lives. I know that because of him i can return and live with them again. I can be with those i love and the ones that i have lost. I miss them all so much, but i know that i can be with them again someday. Again i hope the lord can be well pleased with me.

Fall

I love month of october because I love to watch as the leaves on the trrees change colors, I love crunching leaves as walk, I love the cool breeze I feel when I walk. I remember one experience i had about a year ago I went on a motorcycle ride up through the canyon and I just remember thinking and seeing how beautiful the trees were and I remember feeling the breeze blow in my face and i just felt such peace and that i did not have to worry about anything other then enjoying the ride seeing gods creations in front of me. I love this time of year as the summer transitions into winter. It is the best!! I can't wait to see these changes here in Montana. I have seen some trees so far and I look forward to seeing even more!! I love you montana and I am so happy to be here serving in "God's Country" fall and october is my favortite time of the year.

Team Dumbldore or Team Voldemort

In Harry Potter we read about two very important characters. Dumbledore and Voldemort. These two men remind me about lot about God and Satan. Lets compare them and see how they are alike.
Dumbledore was wise. There is not anything that he did not know. From watching the movies i always noticed that he always knew things before they happened. There is not anything Harry could get away with without Dumbledore knowing about it.  That is how God is. He knows all!!! we read in the Book of Mormon that god knoweth all things and there is nothing save he knows. (2 Nephi 9:20) We like harry can not hide things from dumbledore or god. They know what will happen before hand. Dumbledore was also gentle. Everything that he did, he was careful and things were well thought out before he did them. He was also very kind. Everything he did was for others. He never did anything to hurt someone and make fun of them. He loved everyone. God is gentle, kind, and loving. Everything he does is for us and to make sure we are happy.  Dumbledore was caring and understanding. He cared not only for him but for his students. Harry always went to him for questions and advice and Dumbledore did not care how big or small his problem was he was there to care for him and take of him. He cared for him his whole life. Dumbledore was always very understanding. He listened and understood Harry's hard times and good times. God is like that too! he loves and cares for us, he wants what is best for us. There is also nothing to big or small for the lord. He can do all things. He understands what we go through and knows best how to help us get through our hard and good times. Dumbledore and God are both very smart!! they know EVERYTHING!!!!  Now lets take a look at Voldermort and Satan. Voldemort is  Hateful towards everyone he is so desperate that he will do anything!! just to kill!! He wants all the glory for himself and wants to have charge of everything. He is always so angry. He does things to people to make them get angry and down. He is completely heartless. He does not care about anyone or anything. Everything has to be his way or else.... Satan is just like Voldermort. Satan is hateful towards everyone and every good thing. He wanted to be our savior and to have all the glory for himself, but god did not let him so he is therefore angry towards god and does all he can to make us mad, to make us hateful towards others, to make our lives miserable!! Therefore all of us missionaries that are here in Montana are part of gods army!! so we can win the fight against Satan. In Harry Potter all the students gather together and build Dumbledores army to fight against Voldermort. Do we want to be a part of voldermort or Satan's death eaters?! No we want to be with Dumbledore and God. At least i know i do. What about you? Are you team Dumbledore or Team Voldermort?  I like what Harry says to his friends at the very end of the 5th movie after they had just had that big battle at the ministry with the death eaters. "Even though we have a fight ahead of us, we have one thing that voldermort dosen't have. Something worth fighting for!

Faith&Prayer

What is faith? Faith is believing in something that we can not see but knowing it is there. Faith is something that everyone has and can grow stronger if we let it. Faith is such wonderful thing to have. But i think sometimes we forget that we need to act on that faith. Yeah we can say we have faith but we need to do something with that faith. In the Bible, the book of James it says that "faith without works is dead. for as the body without the spirit is dead so is faith without works." If we have faith in Jesus Christ then we will want to do all we can to follow him, serve him, and obey him. Its just like having faith and trust in a friend. If you love that friend and have faith in them, then you will want to do all you can to help them and do what they ask. One great commandment that the lord has given us is prayer. Prayer is the two way communication with our Heavenly Father. He wants to talk to him. Let him know how we feel, what you are going through, what you need help with, things you are thankful for. Nothing is too dumb or too little to ask god. He doesn't care what we pray for as long as it is from our heart and we pray with real intent having faith in him. Faith and Prayer go hand in hand. We need to have faith that lord will answer our prayers. Even tho we can not see how he will or what the answer may be.. we need to have faith that he will. I have seen how faith can help me with getting answers to my prayers.  It defiantly has built my faith. So have that faith in the lord and follow him. Pray to him and know that he is there and have faith in him that he will answer your prayers. I know that he hears and answers my prayers. I know that he can do the same for you, if you have faith in him.

His Hands

His hands
tools of creation
stronger than nations
power without end
and yet through them we find our truest friend
his hands
sermons of kindness
healing men's blindness
halting years of pain
children waiting to be held again

his hands would serve his whole life though
showing man what hands might do
giving, ever giving, endlessly
each day was filled with selflessness
and I'll not rest until i make up my hands what they could be
'til these hands become like those from Galilee

his hands
lifting a leper
warming a beggar
calling back the dead
breaking bread, five thousand fed
his hands
hushing contention
pointing to heaven
ever free of sin
then bidding man to follow him

his hands would serve his whole life though
showing man what hands might do
giving, ever giving, endlessly
each day was filled with selflessness
and I'll not rest until i make up my hands what they could be
'til these hands become like those from Galilee

his hands
clasped in agony

as he he lay pleading, bleeding in the garden
while just moments away
other hands betray him
out of greed, shameful greed
and then his hands
are trembling
straining to carry the beam that they've been led to
as he stumbles through the streets
heading towards the hill on which he died
he would die
they take his hands, his mighty hands, those gentle hands
and then they pierce them, they pierce them
he lets them, because of love
from birth to death was selflessness
and clearly now i see him with his hands
calling to me
and though I'm not yet as i would be
he has shown me how i could be
i will make my hands like those from Galilee

Have you ever stopped to look at your hands and concentrate on what they look like and what they can do? Hands are an amazing thing! We can do so much with our hands! they can become bruised or callused or dry or just to the point where they become so worn out from our everyday lives. Jesus Christ used his hands and wore them out by serving and healing those around him. Doing good for those around him. He loved everyone so he served everyday. So lets follow his example and have hands of Galilee. Lets use our hands for the good things in life. "when ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your god"

Soft
Peace
Invites
Reverent
Inspire
Teachable
Understands
Ask
Love

Redeemer
One of Israel
Creator
King
Son of God

In the Book of Mormon , Heleman 5:12 we read that we must build our foundation on Jesus Christ. He is our rock and our Redeemer. Or in a sense he is our "Spiritual Rock" He is the one that we can have faith in and trust in him. Even tho we can't see him we know that he is there and that he can be our spiritual rock. He spoke softly, he brought peace, he invites all to follow him, he was reverent, he inpires us to do good, he taught the will of his father, he understans our pains and weaknesses, he asks us to be as he is, he is our redeemer, he is the holy one of israel, he is our creator, our king, the son of god. Jeusus Christ is our spiritual rocks. He is my spiritual rock and i know that he lives. Not only can Jesus Christ be our spiritual rocks but other in our life as well. Such as family and friends. My family are my spiritual rocks. I can trust them and know that i have a foundation with them. I had a friend that i met her on my mission in my first area that told me that i was his spiritual rock. Just like the savior even though we can not see him or we are away from our family and friends they can still be our spiritual rock. We can always count on them. I am so happy that i was able to help and touch that individual so much that he thinks of me as his spiritual rock.  So let us all look to the savior and those in our lives who are our spiritual rocks.

Atonement

Our Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us that enables us to return and live with him again. The most important part of that plan that he has for us is the atonement of Jesus Christ. The atonement consists of three things. His suffering in the garden of Gethsemene, His death on the cross, and his resurrection. With out these three things we would not be able to return and live with God again. That is why it so essential to the plan that he has for us. Gods plan is also layed out for us to follow him by having faith, repenting, batism, receiving the gift of the holy ghost and enduring to the end. These five steps will get us home to live with our Heavenly Father! This plan that Heavenly Father has for each of us is perfect in every way and will work to lead us home. I am grateful for this plan. It makes me happy to know that i am not alone and that I can have christ in my life to help me so that i can return. I know that by following these 5 steps that we can live with god again. It makes him happy when I follow him. He loves everyone no matter what. No matter who they are, what they have gone through. He wants EVERYONE! to follow him so they can live with thim again.

Missionaries!!

I am Sister Tuckett and i am a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. My purpose as a missionary is to invite others to come unto Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and his atonement, repentence, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost and enduring to the end. I am a Missionary because i love my god and i want to serve him and fulfill my purpose as a missonary. What is a missionary? A missionary is a reprsentative of Jesus Christ that goes out to different places in the world and teaches about Jesus Christ and about his church that he said up when he was on the earth. We teach about Heavenly Fathers plan for us and how we can live with him again. We teach about having faith and repenting of our wrongs and how we can be baptized and then have the holy ghost to be with us at all times. We teach about gods commandments that he has given us and how to follow him. We teach about families and we can be with them forever! When do missionaries go? The male missionaries(Elders) go out when they are 19 years of age and sisters go out when they are 21. Missionaries go to Canada, US, Europe, Africa, England and lots of other places around the world.

There are hundrends of missionaries out preaching the gospel. Missionaries are called by our living prophet and apostles today. We feel out a series of papers and turn them into Salt Lake City, UT and they decide where each missionary goes, then they send us back a letter telling us where the lord wants us to go. We then report on a certain date to what is called the MTC(Missionary Training Center) we go there to learn how to teach people and how to be become successful missionaries. We are there for about 3 weeks and then go to where we have been called to serve. Elders serve for 24 months and the sisters serve for 18 months. We dedicate our time and effort to the lord. We are set apart from the world to do the lords work and to only serve him. I am so happy to be a missionary and i am know that i have been called of god to teach his gospel to the people of Montana. In the Book of Mormon: Another Testement of Jesus Christ i love the verse which reads: "Now they were desirous that salvation should be declared to every creature, for they could not bear that any human soul should perish; yea, even the very thoughts that any soul should endure endless torment did cause them to quake and tremble." I am out here to help people to come unto Christ so that can enjoy the blessing that i enjoy.  http://mormon.org/missionaries/

One night I had a dream--
I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord
and across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints,
one belonged to me and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in my life.
This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you would walk with me all the way,
but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
"I don't understand why in times when I needed you most,
you should leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child,
I love you and I would never, never leave you
during your times of trial and suffering.
"When you saw only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."

A Living Prophet Today!

In the Book of Mormon we read about King Noah. King Noah was a very wicked man. He did not keep the commandments of god, he was self conceited,he lied, he was lazy, idolatrous, and he did not care about any one but himself. He also had a lot of  wealth, and went after riches. He taught his people to do the same and not to follow god.

Because he was so wicked, god sent a prophet(Abinadi) to tell King Noah and his people that they needed to repent or his people will be put in bondage. But King Noah did not listen and he said that he was a crazy man and to kill him. So Abinadi was put to death by fire. This story reminds me a lot of our world today. We have those people that are following the ways of the world and not the ways of god. So god called a prophet just like Abinadi to call us to repentance and to follow Heavenly Father today. It is so important that we have a prophet today. Cause the world is getting more and more crazier each day. We need that prophet to lead and guide us, to warn us and to receive that direct communication with our loving heavenly father.

The Power of the Atonement!

She was driving last Friday on her way to Cincinnati
On a snow white Christmas Eve
Going home to see her Mama and her Daddy
With the baby in the backseat

Fifty miles to go and she was running low
On faith and gasoline
It'd been a long hard year

She had a lot on her mind and she didn't pay attention
She was going way too fast
Before she knew it she was spinning
On a thin black sheet of glass

She saw both their lives flash before her eyes
She didn't even have time to cry
She was so scared
She threw her hands up in the air

Jesus, take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own

I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Jesus, take the wheel

It was still getting colder when she made it to the shoulder
And the car came to a stop
She cried when she saw that baby in the backseat
Sleeping like a rock

And for the first time in a long time
She bowed her head to pray
She said I'm sorry for the way
I've been living my life

I know I've got to change
So from now on tonight

Jesus, take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own

I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on

Oh Jesus, take the wheel
Oh, I'm letting go

So give me one more chance
Save me from this road I'm on
From this road I'm on
Jesus, take the wheel
Oh, take it, take it from me.
As you all my know this song is from Carrie Underwood. It is one of my favroite songs. The chorus part of this song reminds a lot of the atonement. In this song she is talking about a young mom that is driving through a snow storm and she had been thinking alot about her life, had  alot on her mind and she knew she needed to change to pray and and ask god to help her. That is what we need to do. When we have those storms in our life that is when we really need to turn to the lord and ask for help and for forgivness.  He wants us to ask him and to follow him. He will take over our wheel and will drive where we need to go so that we can get through the storms that we go through. There is always a second chance. We can always start over. The atonement of Jesus Christ is like a reset button. Instead of a game over we can reset and try again. He is there for us! so pray to him and let him take over. That is why he performed the atonement. So that we can apply it into our lives. When we apply the atonement to our lives we need reconize that we need to change we have done something wrong, and to feel that godly sorrow. We need to pray and confess to Heavenly Father and to ask him for forgivness. Once we have shown him that we are willing to change and have prayed and ask for forgivness. We need to make what is worng right. If we have stolen something we need to return it, If we have lied we need to fix that lie. Whatever it may be, we need to fix it and promise to never do it again. Repentance and  applying the atomement to our lives is an everyday process. Everyday we need to repent and to apply the atonement. In this song the women repents, she apply christ atonement wants him to help her. I have seen the atonement in my on life and i know that it is real and that i can always come back to my savior I can have that second chance to pick myslef up and to start again. This is my testimony in the name of Jesus Christ amen.

Cumorahs Hill

Long were the shadows, deep was the chill of star-less night.
Great the confusion now ages long upon the land.
Long upon the land.

Hushed were the voices, silent the witness of the past.
Timeless the record hidden between the earth and stone.
Tender the prophet brought to the hillside,
drawn by a vision bright.
Breathless the moment when the stone was opened
lifting the truth to the light.

From Cumorah's Hill there comes a witness and a warning;
Out of darkness shines at last the welcome light of morning!

Now are the stick of Joseph and Judah one in hand,
How plain and precious now is the Gospel of the Lamb.
Read from its pages, drink from the fountain,
feast on the words of Christ.
Saved through the ages for this dispensation
piercing the clouds of the night.

From Cumorah's Hill there comes a witness and a warning;
Out of darkness shines at last the welcome light of morning!

Ancient voices crying from the dust,
Ancient voices crying from the dust.
God remembers yet His covenant.
God remembers yet His covenant.
In the latter-day He speaks to us
In the latter-day He speaks to us

From Cumorah's Hill.
from Cumorah's Hill.

From Cumorah's Hill there comes a witness and a warning;
Out of darkness shines at last the welcome light of morning!
Morning! From Cumorah's Hill!

Articles of Faith

We Believe that first Principles and Ordinances of the Gospel are

2 Nephi 31:13,16
13 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, I know that if ye shall follow the Son, with full purpose of heart, acting no hypocrisy and no deception before God, but with real intent, repenting of your sins, witnessing unto the Father that ye are willing to take upon you the name of Christ, by baptism—yea, by following your Lord and your Savior down into the water, according to his word, behold, then shall ye receive the Holy Ghost; yea, then cometh the baptism of fire and of the Holy Ghost; and then can ye speak with the tongue of angels, and shout praises unto the Holy One of Israel.
16 And now, my beloved brethren, I know by this that unless a man shall endure to the end, in following the example of the Son of the living God, he cannot be saved.

By following these three things you will be able to come closer to your Heavenly Father and enjoy his greatest blessing of Eternal Life!!

Gentle Voice

Far above the noise of life,
There’s a voice that is gently calling.
Leave behind your cares and strife.
Come to me, I will give you rest.
Bring your fear, and bring your pain.
Bring your anger, and bring your worry.
Do you hear the voice of Jesus
gently calling, Come unto me.
Gentle voice, so meek and mild,
Gentle words of understanding.
You are my beloved child.
Come to me, I will give you rest.
Bring your grief, and bring your cares.
Bring you heartaches, and bring your sorrow.
Do you hear the voice of Jesus
Gently calling, Come unto me
Gentle voice so full of love,
Gentle words so rich in mercy.
You are my beloved child.
Come to me. I will give you rest.

They Heard Me Come!

Thy heard me come
They saw my very face
They wondered who
Would come into this place
And where the dying talk
Of life before
The curse upon them came.

Thy looked on me;
They must have felt my gaze
  They came toward me,
Through the crowded maze,
And a leper in shame, hid his head
Till someone said,Jesus, is his name
And I said,

Nations fall behind me
The rivers crawl to find me
Mountains move
Just to let me through.
Come and never leave me
Just let your heart believe me
And never let my light go
Never let my light go
Never let my love grow dim.

  I fed a thousand
With one loaf of bread
I  raised
A child from the dead
I healed the sick
The blind man saw his eyes
The lame man stood
And joyous were their cries
And I said:

Nations fall behind me
The rivers crawl to find me
Mountains move
Just to let me through
Come and never leave me
Just let your heart believe me
And never let my light go

 Never let my light go
Never let my love grow dim

They saw my pain
As they nailed me to a cross
Wish that they
Could understand the cause
I looked on them
As I had once before
Saying, Hear my word!
To all forever more

And I'll say:
Nations fall behind me
The river crawl to find me
Mountains move
Just to let me through
Come and never me
Just believe
And never let my light go
  never let my light go
Never let your light grow dim

My Kindness Shall Not Depart From Thee

For a little while
Have I forsaken thee;
But with great mercies will I gather thee.
In a little wrath I hid my face from thee
For a moment.

But with everlasting kindness will I gather thee,
And with mercy will I take thee ‘neath my wings,
For the mountains shall depart,
And the hills shall be removed,
And the valleys shall be lost beneath the sea,
But know, my child,
My kindness shall not depart from thee!

Though thine afflictions seem
At times too great to bear,
I know thine every thought and every care.
And though the very jaws
Of hell gape after thee I am with thee.

And with everlasting mercy will I succor thee,
And with healing will I take thee ‘neath my wings.
Though the mountains shall depart,
And the hills shall be removed,
And the valleys shall be lost beneath the sea,
Know, my child,
My kindness shall not depart from thee!

How long can rolling waters
Remain impure?
What power shall stay the hand of God?
The Son of Man hath descended below all things.
Art thou greater than He?

So hold on thy way,
For I shall be with thee.
And mine angels shall encircle thee.
Doubt not what thou knowest,
Fear not man, for he
Cannot hurt thee.

And with everlasting kindness will I succor thee,
And with mercy will I take thee ‘neath my wings.
For the mountains shall depart,
And the hills shall be removed,
And the valleys shall be lost beneath the sea,
But know, my child,
My Kindness shall not depart from thee!

When Love cam Down to Earth

When love came down to earth

And made His home with men,
The hopeless found a hope,
The sinner found a friend.
Not to the powerful
But to the poor He came,
And humble, hungry hearts
Were satisfied again.
What joy, what peace has come to us!
What hope, what help, what love!
When every unclean thought,
And every sinful deed
Was scourged upon His back
And hammered through His feet.
The Innocent is cursed,
The guilty are released;
The punishment of God
On God has brought me peace.
Come lay your heavy load
Down at the Master’s feet;
Your shame will be removed,
Your joy will be complete.
Come crucify your pride,
And enter as a child;
For those who bow down low
He’ll lift up to His side

How is soccer like the gospel of Jesus Christ? Well in soccer you have the kicker and he is like god. He can kick us to our goal if we have faith in him and allow him to kick us. So that makes us the ball and we need to repent, keep ourselves clean from mud or sin and we can do that by being baptized. By being baptized we can be free from all sin. The goal is gods kingdom. We need to remain clean so we can enter to our ultimate goal. It can be hard at time running down the that long field of life but if we endure to the end, if we keep trying everyday and doing our best to follow him and keep his commandments then we can live with God again. Along the way we have Family and friends to cheer us on and help us. We are never alone! God loves us so much that he has given us prophets and apostles or the referees to tell help us follow the rules so we don't get hurt and fall down. Our couches are like the Holy Ghost helping us from the side lines so that we know what to do and where to go. Warning us and allowing us to not get hurt. Heavenly Father wants each of us to return an live with him again. We do that by living the gospel of Jesus Christ! Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Receiving the Gift of the Hly Ghost, and Enduring to the End!

Beleive Him

Its  amazing to see how much someone can grow in such a sort while. How they can learn so much and have the strength and confidence that they did not have before. How their whole attitude and personality can be happier and being able to look at life and things around them differently. This person is me. I have come so far in a short three months. I have seen how the lord has changed my life and helped me in so many wonderful ways. I yet still have to learn some new things now but i know that i can do it. Because with the  lord i can do all things. If he has helped me once already why can't he do it again. This life is the time to learn and to grow. It is that time to prepare to meet god. We need to learn and do all we can, do the best we can so that we can return and live with him again. I know that my redeemer lives and the his there for me and is helping me in his due time. We need to not only believe in him, but believe him!

Trust in the Lord

In Proberbs it says: "Trust in the lord with all thine heart and lean not to thine own understandings all thy ways aknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths" This is on of my favorite scriptures! I think that it is so true, that if we are putting our trust in god and giving him all our worrirs and  cares to him then he will help us and direct our paths. He will guide where we need to go in life. I know this to be so true! and i am grateful that we have such a loving Heavenly Father to lead and guide us here on this earth. Without him i would be lost.

EASTER!

So with Easter coming up and all I just want to send out a reminder as to why we celebrate this wonderful holiday. Its not for the bunnies and the chocolate but rather for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For his resurrection and for what he has done for each and everyone of us. Here is a picture and something to think about what he must have went through for us, and the pain that he had to bare. These railroad track nails are about the size of the nails that they crucified him with. He went through this kind of pain for us!! Because he loves us so, he chose himself to die for us so that we can one day like him be resurrected and to live with him and God the Father again someday. So forget about the chocolate and the bunnies and think about Christ and what pains he went through for you! What role does Christ have in you life? For me he is my brother and my Savior. I know that what he went through was for me. And that he wants me to return and live with him again someday. I know that only through him can I be healed. I know that my Redeemer Lives!

Doubt Not; Fear Not

We all go through different kinds of storms and instead of having that faith we fear and forget what the lord can do for us and we think to ourselves, "Lord save Me." He is there! and will stretch forth his hand and catch us. He will ask my child wherefore didst thou doubt? We need not to doubt and fear but to have that faith and put our trust in Christ. When we do he will save us!!

The lord is always near. There is always someone watching out for us. He is there when we need some one to talk to, He Lives! to here my souls complaint. I know that He lives! I know that if i having problems in my life that I can turn to the lord. He will always be there to hear my prayers and to strengthen me. Ether 12:27 He will make our weakness become strong.
