Best Friends in the Marvelous Montana, Wonderful Wyoming Mission.

My very first Companion on the mission will probably be one of my best friends forever. Sister Weir! two people with different backgrounds coming together with one purpose. Serving the lord. I struggled in the MTC, but with her help and the encouragement that she always gave me and the example she was to me she helped me realize that i can be a good missionary. Over time we got to know each other more and became best friends. She is the best!!

I am so grateful for Carli VanLeishout. I am grateful for the great example she set for me when i first got to Kalispell, Montana. Grateful for her love and kindness towards me. For making sure i knew everything i needed to know to be successful missionary. Because she was my first companion i look up to her more then anyone. She was my first  friend in the mission field and always will be one of my best friends. Thank you for all you have done!! I love you!

I am so Happy i got serve with  Sister Jensen for the short time that i did in Fairfield, Montana.  She too taught me a lot about how to be a great missionary. I learned a lot from her in that short time. Because i was only there for 3 weeks i don't remember a whole lot, but i do remember the good times we had and the love she showed towards me. I am so grateful for her and for the great example she is to me. I will always remember Sister Jensen. She too is one of my  best friends! I love you Sister Jensen.

Oh Sister Mace I love you!! the things i remember about Jillian Mace is her kindness towards EVERYONE!! she was so humble and was always willing to help. She taught me so many things by her example. Together we learned the importance of hard work and to trust in the lord. We learned that through our exact obedience the lord brings miracles. Our miracle and friend was Debora McAdams. I will never forget our good times in the best district ever. The Kalispell Pirates!!  She is my best friend forever!

I had the privilege to serve with Sister Rachelle Davidson. We served in Red Lodge Montana for 3 months. It started out being the hardest time of my mission, and ended up being my favorite part of the mission. I learned so much from Sister Davidson. Everyday she would make me laugh and i felt like i could be myself. We went places where no other missionaries had gone in a very long time. We met so many wonderful people. I will always remember sister davidson, and her random meowing. She is now one my best friends.

I had such a blast serving with Sister Reed in Billings, Montana. She showed so much love towards me and really made me feel special. I could also be myself around her. She was a great example when it came to missionary work. We had our tiffs but we were able to work it out and to forgive each other quickly. She is such a great missionary and i thank her for all she taught me. She had a lot of random deep doctrinal questions but as we talked about them we learned a lot from each other. Our testimonies were stronger. I love you sister reed and i will never forget you. You will always be my one of my best friends.

Sister Helu took Sister Reed's spot in Billings and she taught me so much! things that i will never forget. One thing that really stood out to me was faith.  She taught me that faith is more then just a knowledge, but it is a feeling as well. With faith anything is possible. With the faith we had we were then able to build our area especially Sky view ward.  And also we found those special souls (Georgia Wadman and Jennifer Langford) that the lord prepared for us to find an to be a part of their lives forever. I know that this is the lords work and we are instruments in his hands. I will always be grateful for Sister Helu. She too is one of my best friends here in the marvelous montana wonderful wyoming mission.

Zuster!!! Sister Nielson was a visa waiter that i got to train with Sister Helu in Billings. Zuster Nielson taught me that we can still laugh, have fun yet still work hard. Helped me to stay focused and to not loose that greenie fire. We were able to really connect with each other and to really get along. Our families knew each other and we had some of the same friends. In a way that made me feel closer and more connected. The lord knows for sure that we were meant to be companions. I will always remember Zuster Nielson and the good times we had. I love her and hope we can be friends FOREVER!!
My last area was Lovell Wyoming with with the Lovely Sister Clay!! Oh how she loved and served everyone. She taught me that  it is important to love everyone. I will for sure be a hugger after serving with her. I think that the christ like attribute that fits her is charity. The pure love of christ! that is sister clay!! what a wonderful kind an loving best friend she is. I love sister clay!

I also got the privledge of training again. I trained Sister Allison Wood from Fresno California. She was a really great companion! She was easy to get along with. We instantly connected as friends and contacted so many referrals!!! We worked hard learned from each other by example. She helped me understand the true meaning of the God head. She had such a strong unshakeable testimony! She is the sweetest person I know. I love her so much!!!

Why Do We Need Prophets?

Because Heavenly Father loves His children, He has not left them to walk through this mortal life without direction and guidance. The teachings of our Heavenly Father are not the ordinary, predictable, run-of-the-mill kind you can pick up in paperback at the local bookstore. They are the wisdom of an all-powerful, all-knowing celestial Being who loves His children. Encompassed in His words is the secret of the ages—the key to happiness in this life and in the world to come.
Heavenly Father reveals this wisdom to His children on earth through His servants the prophets (see Amos 3:7). From the days of Adam, God has spoken to His children through appointed oracles who are charged with revealing His will and counsel to others. Prophets are inspired teachers and are always special witnesses of Jesus Christ (see D&C 107:23). Prophets speak not only to the people of their time, but they also speak to people throughout all time. Their voices echo through the centuries as a testament of God’s will to His children.
Today is not different from ages past. The Lord does not love the people of our day any less than in past times. One of the glorious messages of the Restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ is that God continues to speak to His children! He is not hidden in the heavens but speaks today as He did in ancient days.
Much of what the Lord reveals to His prophets is intended to prevent sorrow for us as individuals and as societies. When God speaks, He does so to teach, inspire, refine, and warn His children. When individuals and societies ignore their Heavenly Father’s instructions, they do so at the risk of trial, torment, and toil.
God loves all His children. That is why He pleads so earnestly with us through His prophets. Just as we want what is best for our loved ones, Heavenly Father wants what is best for us. That is why His instructions are so crucial and sometimes so urgent. That is why He has not abandoned us today but continues to reveal His will to us through His prophets. Our fate and the fate of our world hinge on our hearing and heeding the revealed word of God to His children.
God’s priceless instructions to humankind are found in the Bible, the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. In addition, the Lord speaks to us through His servants, as He will again at the upcoming general conference.
To all who wonder if such a thing can be—who might ask, “Is it possible that God speaks to us today?”—with all my heart I invite you to “come and see” (John 1:46). Read the word of God as found in the scriptures. Listen to general conference with an ear willing to hear the voice of God given through His latter-day prophets. Come, hear, and see with your heart! For if you seek “with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, [God] will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost” (Moroni 10:4). By and through this power, I know that Jesus Christ lives and directs His Church through a living prophet, even President Thomas S. MonsonBrothers and sisters, God does speak to us today. And He desires that all His children listen to and heed His voice. As we do so, the Lord will bless and uphold us greatly, both in this life and through the worlds to come.
This talk was given by Dieter F. Uchtdorf. He is the second counselor in the first presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  I too as a representative of Jesus Christ invite you to come listen to a prophet's voice and hear the word of god. I have a strong testimony of Thomas S. Monson. I know with out a doubt that he is a prophet called by god today to lead and guide Christ's restored church upon the earth.  I love him so much!!

What do you know about frogs? Here are some facts about frogs if you don't know much about them.
-Frogs are know as amphibians. Amphibian means two-lives.
- They are cold blooded which means their bodies are the same temperature as the air and water around them.
- When they are cold they lay in the sun to warm up and when they are hot they get in the water to cool off.
-They are found all over the word except Antarctica.
-They are carnivores which means they eat meat.
- Most frogs will starve before they eat a dead insect or animal.
-Frogs have very good eyesight and great hearing. They also have powerful back legs and webbed feet to help them jump long distances and to swim.
-Some frogs can jump 20 times their own body length in a single leap.
These are just some facts about frogs. The most important thing about frogs is that they remind us to Fully Rely On God!!! When we fully rely on him we are able to have more strength and confidence in all things. I  know that is true for me. When we rely on him and do our best and do our part then he will make up the rest. So lets do the best we can to Fully Rely On God and put it all in his hands.

Book of Mormon

Its crazy as to how many books are out there in the world today. You can go to a library and check out a book on pretty much anything!! Love and romance, wars, vampires, dragons, knights and shining armor, books on sports and people lives. You name it and there is a book about it. But ask yourself what are these books really teaching you? Are they teaching you to be kind to others, to love those around you. Do they make you happy or sad? Do they make you want to be like the people you read about? What do they make you think about? Are they helping you to learn and become a better person? Are they giving us more knowledge and wisdom? there are so many questions that you can ask yourself. "Desires dictate our priorities, priorities shape our choices, and choices determine our actions. The desires we act on determine our changing, our achieving, and our becoming." (Elder Dallin H. Oaks quorum of the twelve apostles) This quote is so true when it comes to i think reading books. The things we read put certain desires into our minds and with those desires it then determines our  priorities and the choices we make and then of course how we act. Books really do have such a huge impact on who are and what we will become. When i read i want it to be something that i am interested in, Something that will make me happy and want learn as much as i can. There is one  book that i have found that i think EVERYONE!! should read. It is a book that when you read it you can feel of its goodness, it makes you want to become a better person, it gives you all the wisdom and knowledge that you need to know who you are, What you can become, and how do it. Its something you can read and when you are feeling down or going through a trial. It can help you to get through that trial and it can lift you up and make you feel happy.  It is a book that you can relate to because the experiences and the stories that are in it are REAL!! they really happened. The people we read about are real people. Having real life problems.  It teaches us how do love others, how to be kind to those around us. And why it is so important.  This book lets us know how to live our life the way our Heavenly Father wants us to.  Gives us step by step of the things we MUST do so we can live with him again. There are so many other great things this book teaches us. We just need to find it and read it. It is like any other book. You won't know what is like or the things that i have mentioned are true until you read it and find out for yourselves.  This book is called THE BOOK OF MORMON! it is another testament of Jesus Christ.  God loves all his children the same and wants every one to know of the goodness this book brings. It is gods word!! There is a promise in back of this book given to us by a prophet of god. He says: "And when ye shall receive these things i would exhort you that ye would ask god the eternal father in the name of Christ if these things are not true, and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart with real intent having faith in Christ he will manifest the truth if it unto you by the power of the holy ghost, and by the power of the holy ghost you may know the truth of all things." He is telling us to try it. Really ask and be willing to act upon that answer that you get. I know that this book is true!! I know that is the most correct book upon the earth. I know that by reading this book that i can come closer to my Father in Heaven. I know that he loves me, and wants me to be happy. I know what i need to to everyday of my life because i have read this book and know what it contains.  So just like any other book you would read, check this one out and see how it makes you feel and what it can truly do for you. Again i know this book is true and it has blessed my life so much. I know that it can do the same for you.  Please read it and before you judge it and shun it down. Read it to know what it is really like. I know that god will not lead you astray with this book!

THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

In order to move up the ladder we must work and have Faith. Otherwise we will be stuck with just faith and stay on the first step. Faith makes us work and leads to action.

Once we have faith and have taken the next step we then need to Repent. To repent we 1) recognize that we have sinned or made a mistake. 2) we stop what we are doing and promise to never do it again. 3) Ask forgiveness and get help if needed. 4) Make whatever you did wrong right. 5) Acknowledge your savior and know that he can help you and look to him.

The next step is baptism. Baptism is the cleansing of our sins. Baptism is being completely immersed in the water so that we can be washed of all our sins. When we are baptized we enter into a covenant or promise with our Heavenly Father. We promise to Take upon ourselves the name of Christ, Always remember him, Keep his commandments, and Endure to the end. In return the our Heavenly Father promises us the constant companionship of the Holy Ghost

After we have been baptized we then receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is our constant companion. It can be with us all the time as long as we are worthy of it. It is there to help us in life. To comfort us, to warn us of danger, to lead and guide us. He is there to keep us on the right path so we can return to live with our Heavenly Father.

Once we have had faith, repented of our sins, have been baptized and received the holy ghost, we must keep going and continually striving to do those things. We must Endure to the End. Remain faithful to the lord.

The last and final step is Eternal Life. Heavenly Father has promised us this free gift if we do all these things and are worthy of living his presence. The lord wants us to make this our ultimate goal. Here we can live with god and his son Jesus Christ. We can also live with our families forever.

Plan of Salvation like a III Act Play!!

Gods Plan of Happiness is like a three act play. We however are in act II(Earth Life) and do not remember what happened in act I.(Pre-Earth Life) So we have to learn all we can about act I so we know about act II. The more we know about act I and what happened there the more we will understand about act II and why its the way it is.  However we do know a little bit about act I  We know that in act I we lived with god as his spirit children. He loved us he got to know us and wants everyone to return to him. When we left act I we passed through what we call a vail. It is very thin but makes it so that we do not remember what happened. If we knew what happend then there would be no point to this life and we would already know everything. God wanted us to walk by faith and to learn and grow from our own mistakes and to choose for oursleves.  Once we know all about act I and act II then when we learn about act III it will make perfect sense to us. Because we will have the whole picture and know what expects of us.

I am an Inkeeper

When i was growing up i had this quote that hung on my bedroom door. It read "Each of us is an Inkeeper who decides if there is room for Jesus." I love this qoute because it reminds me to let Christ into my life. Chirst was born for us! He was here on the earth to show us the way, to be that example. He was sent here to be our lord and savior. He atoned for the sins of the world. If it were not for Christ we could not return to live with our Father in Heaven. We are those inkeepers! When christ comes knocking at our door and needs a place to rest will we let him in? I know i would! Christ is there and is waiting for us to let him in our lives. So remember this christmas season and always, his birth, and his life.  Remember what he has done for you. Make him a part of your life!
